FLAMINGO GROVE, AN OASIS IN THE CITY.

We offer lodging and hospitality to visitors the Bethel facilities of Jehovah’s Witnesses.  

One of our fondest memories of living in West Africa was traveling for hours in the heat of the desert and coming upon an exquisite oasis with hundreds of bright coral-colored flamingos. It was a sight that took our breath away. Our hearts filled with gratitude to Jehovah for creating these magnificent birds. We felt joy, peace and serenity.  Our home is called FLAMINGO GROVE because, not only is it adorned with many flamingos; it is also a place of joy, peace and serenity. 

Enjoy sitting on the huge deck to eat your meals. Feel free to use the grill for delicious barbecue in the evenings. We enjoy lodging brothers from all over the world who are visiting the facilities of Jehovah’s Witnesses. We are centrally located near each of them (Patterson is forty minutes east, Wallkill is forty minutes west, Warwick is fifty-five minutes south). We welcome you to stay in our home.  We speak English, French, Spanish, and Wolof.     

We are located in Poughkeepsie, New York. Poughkeepsie has a restaurant on almost every block, so you are close to eat-in or take-out.
